Stockholm: Michelin-starred sushi at Sushi Sho

Recently, Sushi Sho in Stockholm became Scandinavias first sushi restaurant to receive a Michelin star.

Meals are served omakase style and all the guests are served at the same time, often by head chef and owner Carl Ishizaki himself.

The fish is selected with regard to sustainability and the menu varies depending on what’s in season.

The seafood is top quality, and let’s talk about the eggs! They are cooked to perfection. Also, I really loved the taste and texture of the rice, it is nothing like the sushi rice you get in an ordinary sushi bar.

Sushi Sho is a short (the sitting takes about one hour) but fun adventure that I would highly recommend to all who enjoy Japanese food. The dinner is (still) very affordable, and costs 485 SEK.
